For the past thirty years, Benvenuto Brunello has been one of the most important wine events in the world and a significant window in the communication of wine. Thirty years, thirty presentations to the world of one of the most famous, celebrated and loved wines Made in Italy. Precisely this year, an important anniversary was celebrated for Benvenuto Brunello, the event that launched for the first time in 1992 the previews of Italian wines. Given its success over the years, the event has been exported abroad and New York was immediately identified as one of the favorite destinations to show the quality of such iconic wine. 

Benvenuto Brunello 2022 will take place on Wednesday, February 23 and Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Midtown Loft & Terrace (267 5th Avenue, between 29 and 30 Streets): a two-day private tasting dedicated to the trade, of some of the most interesting vintages of Brunello di Montalcino, 2017, Riserva 2016 and Rosso di Montalcino 2020.

In order to keep up with safety protocols, this year the event will have a different format. The new vintages of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino will be presented during 2 wine tasting sessions per day, with no more than 80 participants per time slot. During each session, sommeliers will serve guests the wine of their choosing from approximately fifty different wineries.

First Tasting Session
10:00 am to 1:00 pm
(10:00 am – 10:30 am: short presentation of Montalcino and the new vintages)

Second Tasting Session
2:00 pm to 5:00pm
(2:00 pm – 2:30 pm: short presentation of Montalcino and the new vintages)
